Coffee types

Latte

A latte or cafè latte is a milk coffee that boasts a silky layer of foam as a real highlight of the drink. A true latte will be made of one or two shots of espresso, steamed milk and a final, thin layer of frothed milk on top. These elements combined result in a balanced milky coffee that's aesthetically pleasing with a smooth texture.

Cappuchino

A cappuccino is an Italian espresso-based coffee drink made with a balanced combination of espresso, steamed milk, and a thick layer of foamed milk. The drink is known for its rich, but mildly sweet flavour from the milk, and traditionally, the components are visually divided into equal thirds, though modern cafes often use a drier, denser foam.

Americano

An Americano is an espresso-based coffee drink made with espresso and hot water, creating a lighter, more diluted flavor similar to drip coffee. The drink's name originates from the legend of American soldiers in Italy during World War II, who diluted strong local espressos to recreate the familiar taste of American drip coffee.

Flate White

A flat white is an espresso-based drink consisting of a shot (or two) of espresso and steamed milk with a thin layer of microfoam, giving it a smooth, velvety texture and a strong coffee flavour. It differs from a latte or cappuccino by having less milk and a less voluminous foam layer, served in a smaller cup to provide a richer, more intense espresso taste. The name "flat white" refers to the flat, even surface of the milk and microfoam on top of the coffee.
